Insurance agents sell insurance.  Some are very good at it.  If you’re fortunate and already have an established relationship with someone you know to be an insurance pro you should stay with them.  

 

At Insurance Marketing Advisory (IMA), we do not sell insurance. That’s left to insurance agents. Our focus is on lowering business insurance costs by encouraging bid proposals from competing agents!

 

Without common specifications, competing bid-proposals are often impossible to compare.  The reason is simple.  Agents typically gather information from you, and then prepare their own bid-proposal based on what they believe is important and what they believe you should buy. Proposal differences such as different causes of loss, different values, different limits, or different rating factors all cause cost comparison confusion.

 

IMA solves this problem. We prepare common specifications for you to hand to each competing agent. You select the agents. Cost savings due to competition now has a chance. We’ll also provide a written analysis of all final proposals received showing changes or omissions from your specifications.  

 

Competition lowers the cost of many other things business firms buy. Effective competition can also lower business insurance costs if agents are required to base their bid-proposal on common specifications. The results are apple to apples comparisons, allowing you to make informed buying decisions. 

 

A reasonable expectation for IMA bottom line premium savings is 10% to 40% for property, liability, and vehicle insurance. Net savings are immediate. Future savings typically continue.  Our one time IMA advisory fee is 10% of the combined premiums you select.

At your sole discretion you may invite or exclude participation of either or both your present agent or Judy Holder Insurance Inc (JHI). State regulations however prohibit Agency acceptance of both commissions and consulting fees on the same lines of insurance for the same Client.  Therefore if JHI is invited to bid, agrees to do so, and later is selected as Agent of Record by you, all IMA consulting fees will promptly be returned to you the Client.
